Get started with V-Ray Benchmark.
Feeling the need for speed? Follow our easy guide to V-Ray Benchmark® and you'll be testing your hardware in no time.
Step 1: Download
To download V-Ray Benchmark, log in to your Chaos® account and go to Downloads, where you can access the latest version.
Step 2: Launch the application
Simply run the application. There is no need to install V-Ray Benchmark and you don’t need a V-Ray license.
Want to benchmark your render farm or cloud? Use the command-line interface to test without a GUI. You can find more information in the documentation.
Step 3: Sign in or create an account
To unlock all V-Ray Benchmark’s features and make the most of it, sign in to your Chaosaccount or create a new one.
Step 4: Select hardware to test & run the tests
With V-Ray Benchmark, you can test V-Ray, V-Ray GPU CUDA or V-Ray GPU RTX. Choose your testing mode and the devices you’d like to benchmark, then hit ‘Start.’
Step 5: Scores
Once the test is complete, you’ll see a preview of your score. Click ‘Save’ and you’ll be able to find all your results in ‘My scores’. It's up to you whether you'd like to share the results publicly on benchmark.chaosgroup.com or keep them private in your account. You can also save a screenshot of the results to your device right from the app.
